Exif - privacy concern

I need recommendation on how to remove exif or additional metadata.
Perhaps an utility ?

Another option is to use XnView MP to clear metadata.
I think there are several applications available that can clear metadata. I don't know if one is the 'best', or if it comes down to what application you like best.

Removing photo metadata on Windows

1. Go to the folder that contains the images you want to address.
2. Select an image file.
3. Use your mouse to right click and select “Properties” from the menu.
4. Next, select “Details.”
5. Select the option to create a copy of the file with all possible properties removed.
6. Select “OK.”
