I updated this morning and tried to set up an exclusion in AMON . It still doesn't work. I have BOClean and I tried to exclude it but it still pops up.

bocelan is kind of picky - did you exclude all instances - there is one boclean in the system32 folder, etc.

I tried it too, works nearly perfect. Trojan hunter gets excluded with just excluding the folder, but boclean seems to work around a little bit.

By the way I had to set up the exclude list completely new

I'm not sure what to do . AMON shows BOClean.exe so that is what I put in to exclude.

Win98SE -- new version of NOD32 is not excluding Trojan Hunter's live update (LiveUpdate.exe).

    Hi all,

How can one actually see when a file is not excluded.

I have put several files in it already, so how do i check this??

Does only Amon exclude these files, or Nod32 as well??

    rgds,
    Martin

That is a good question Martin. What I look at is when I open the Command Center ,click on AMON the file it is checking shows . At least I think that is correct.

    Hi William,

I don't think it goes for Nod32, cause it is a Amon's action, a specific setting for Amon, that's why i asked how to check if Amon is excluding the file(s).

    ok

    once again:

there is two (2) boclean.exe files on your machine- one in the boclean folder, the other in system as there are some others.

Trojanhunter scanner is excluded, update too, jumps up once when started, than ist gone.

Udpate works fast and without trouble.

Can you check if you really have excluded the whole folder.

    How to check:

Open nod controlcenter y and set your cursor on amon - on the right side you will see the files checked: Might appear once, but than has to be gone.

    win2k verything fine here

    Hi Ruben,

How can you see the actual file you have excluded, whilst Amon is scanning randomly.
Do you have to wait till it comes along??

Open AMON and move the screen over or up on the desktop. Run the program you are trying to exclude. With AMON activatated, I can watch it scan Trojan Hunter's "LiveUpdate.exe" file. LiveUpdate "freezes" with AMON enabled. If I turn AMON off and run LiveUpdate, it doesn't freeze and it runs faster.

It just doesn,t want to exclude BOClean. I have tried excluding both executables on thesystem.

Hey you are right about boclean - one of the guys always shows up :)--((

No problem here with live update of Trojan Hunter. shows up once when starting, than its gone again and runs real fast

Its strange though - on my win2k i had trouble with Trojan H. before the update, now I am fine.

Any chance that there is something else wrong with your system?? win98se had some issues with nod and trojan - as far as i remember.

Looks like we need jan again
