    Hi all,

I am using NOD v3. I want set exclude some directories in my computer from Realtime protection function but not exclude with On-Demand scan feature, how do it ? I tried add some dirs to Exclusions List, then i can not scan those dirs with example Context menu scan or In-depth scan.

Hi, first you should take a look at these articles if you haven't:

How to exclude from the real-time scanner:

    http://www.eset.com/support/kb.php?option=com_kb&Itemid=29&page=articles&articleid=560

How to exclude from the On-demand scanner:

    http://www.eset.com/support/kb.php?option=com_kb&Itemid=29&page=articles&articleid=139

Note that for an On-demand scan, you can set up specific files or folders to be excluded by profile. So for a Context menu scan, you could choose to exclude different objects than for an In-depth scan. Let us know if that helps...

My problem is objects that be exluded from Real-Time Protection be also excluded from On-Demand Scan. I don't want that. I only want exclude from real-time protection but not exclude when i use context-menu scan.
