I run a BOINC program ( SETI@home ) on my machines and wish to exclude them from scanning as having them scanned slows the program down. I know excluding files from scanning is not generally a good idea but i trust the source. I've been looking all through the help files and cannot find a reference on how to do this. Can anyone help me here ?

To exclude them from the AMON active file scanner, go to AMON --> Setup --> Exclusions. If you talking about excluding them from an NOD32 on-demand scan, there is no good way to do this, as of now. This has been posted to the "Future Changes to NOD32" wishlist at the top of this forum.

The best workaround I have seen so far is to include everything else on the hard drive, except this folder. Kind of a pain, I know.
