Why would Ewido delete obsolete signatures? Surely the database would continually grow?

    Cheers :D

From time to time we release a new database, the old signatures are simply deleted because you then would have 126.000 signatures ;)

No worries, it still seems a little odd, I would have thought signatures would have just been continually added, as in last week, say 49,000, this week, 49,010, next month now 49,050, next year 49,400 etc etc, I don't see a point in deleteing a database unless it become corrupt...

    Cheers :D

OK, I should have known this but the comptability issue with nod32 (higher efficiency is clearly not working :D)

    I don't think so ;)

Normally you don't see that message, you can just read it when our servers are overloaded :)

Infinity, I just started trialing ewido, what compatibility issues are you having with NOD, I haven't had any but then it's only been a couple hours that I have had ewido. What probs are you having?

Ah, that's why I haven't had any problems 2.12.3 already sets it that way. I am pretty impressed with Ewido so far, it's already found a few tracking cookies Adaware missed. Thanks buddy, How ya been?

My pleasure, I have found it pretty good also, I use it as a backup to Nod32, running it about once a month.

I'm doing really well, almost finished renovating, another day should have it completed :D

    All the best…

    Cheers :D
