Event Log Error Messages in Console

    I've received the following error message from two computer:
    Update attempt failed (Server connection failure),
    Function: gethostbyname, parameters: ,return value: 11001,
    Then it updates successfully

    Does anyone know what the error mesages mean? Especially: Function: gethostbyname, parameters: ,return value: 11001
