Event ID 7022 - The ESET Service service hung on starting.

    Hi..

    I've been having this problem for a little while now. Logon usually fails/hangs a couple of times a week. I've followed the advice in the 'My computer freezes after logon and/or my Windows ESET product displays a blank window' kb article and all the exclusion locations are correct.

    Could there be anything else causing the error please?

    Please configure Windows to generate complete memory dumps as per the instructions here, reproduce the freeze and then create a memory dump using your keyboard as instructed in the KB article.
