eTrust or AVG?

    They are both free for one year. Which one to pick?

    eTrust would be a better choice IMO....Its lighter on my PC and has better detection (at least in my experience), and the interface is quite nice too. :)

    Hi Firecat: Do you know what the clean ability is between these two. I have been doing some looking at the threads on tests, and now have my doubts as to if they really mean all that much, can you give us your opinion. Oh by the way I had tried E-Trust, but found that AVG worked better on my system, just goes to show that as I have said what works on one system may not do that well on an other.

    The etrust Vet engine cleans actually pretty darn well where as the inoculate engine is not quite as good but still respectable.

    I wouldn't recommend AVG, it's never worked well for me.

    regarding detection/cleaning, what about etrust promo and antivir pec o_O? :rolleyes:

    AntiVir imo. They enhanced it very much lately...
