Driving me mad. Using latest version of Eset on Win XP sp3 with ie8 as my browser. Every so often I get 2 etilqs files dumped in my Win temp folder. 1 at 1kb and 1 at 20Mb. These do not vanish until I delete. Nearly all net searches point the finger at Firefox but I do not have firefox installed nor have I ever had it. Some sites mention security software as the culprit. Does anyone here know if this applies to ESET? If it does, how do I stop it. Thanks for any information.
This is a known issue; it will be addressed by an automatic module update. Try disabling LiveGrid for a while and see if the temporary files are not created any more.
