Well I have just bought and installed ESS yesterday and I am loving it!

    1. I am using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and one question I had is that when I go to the Action Center, it says that both Windows Defender and Eset have their Antispyware on. Will this cause any problems? Should I disable Windows Defender?

    2. Second question: With my 1 year subscription if let's say a new version of the program gets released in 6 months, will I be able to download and install that new version for free or will I have to purchase a new subscription if I want to use the new version?

    Thank you in advance!

    Fred

You can freely use any edition brought out for the duration of your licence/subscription.

It should be ok to leave Windows Defender on, but I disable it because I don't feel it adds anything. It's one more thing to keep updated, it nags to run a weekly scan, and it has never found anything that ESS didn't.
