    Hi,

every time I start a video file through Media Player Classic (mpc-hc), ekrn.exe uses 100% of one core of my CPU and it takes about 3-5 seconds for the video to start. When I close mpc-hc, ekrn.exe again uses 100% of 1 core and it scans for 5-10 seconds. If i try to close and right away start a new video, ekrn.exe seems to start 2 threads since now it uses 100% of 2 cores and it takes 5-10 seconds to start the video. If I queue 2 videos, ekrn.exe does the same between each video.

I tried adding mpc-hc to the exclusions list as well as the video file extensions to the exclusion list (.mp4 .mkv .wmv ....), but it still scans the hell out of mpc-hc.

Is this a known bug or is there a fix for this?

    Thanks in advance
