ESS 4 antivirus scanner scheduler

    hello, i have a problem with the automatic virus scan every time i turn on the pc: every time nod begins to scan about 6000 files and it stops, but i have disabled the schduler that scan on system startup or av signatures update.

    why does it scan without my permission ?

    Couldn't these be files accessed during system startup that are scanned by real-time protection?

    yes, probably it is like you say. i try to disable some options in the real time protection.

    for example now the antivirus is scanning some files in the photoshop directory, that i'm sure photoshop is not involved in the startup ( no registry keys and startup folders ). this is what i'm trying to understand.
