    Hi all

I'm running windows xp pro sp3
I'm just trying ESS 3.0 and after install, all seemed to work fine.
the antivirus + firewall + antispam are activated

I'm in a little network (3 pc), behind a router.
ESS found the network and put the ip adresses in the trusted zone.

    Now the problem is
I found errors in the windows event log :
    Source : browser
    Id : 8032
    Description :
The browser service has failed to retrieve the backup list too many times on transport \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{...}. The backup browser is stopping.

I'm (99.8%) sure the problem comes from the ESS firewall
but I don't know how to manage/resolve it.

If anyboby had an explanation / solution it would be very appreciated :)

    thanx

    (sorry for my poor english)

    hm yeah, sure...
but it would be nice to have an explanation too...
Searching on the net I found a kaspersky user who experienced the same problem.

    Hi jobik,

Quite a few reasons for that error are listed here.

Yeah I know. Thank you, bfg. I already red that. but didn't find any fitting answer...
when I deactivate the firewall, I get no more 8032 errors
and, yes, I tried the 4.0.437 ver, same thing...

    Edit :

Well. after too long hours searching, I give up.
    Will try another product...

thank you for your answers/support :)
