    Hello,

Can you tell us a little more about your environment, such as:
    • version of Microsoft Windows installed
    • name and version of web browser that you are using
    • version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus installed
    • error message displayed (if any)
Having that information will be helpful in figuring out where to begin troubleshooting the problem.

    Regards,

Sorry for the delay in responding:

    Windows XP Pro
    IE8
    NOD32 4.0417.0

I have excluded "www.Yahoo.com*" from filtering.

The topical links [not the permanent links] on the Yahoo Home page show that they are attempting to load, they just never do. No error message.
But turning off NOD32 allows them to load promptly.
And, the odd thing, they continue to load after NOD32 is turned back on.
At least until I close IE8 and restart.
Closing and restarting IE8 renders the links unloadable.

    Puzzling.

    Thank for any ideas.

    Hello,

I cannot seem to reproduce this issue, but I did notice that you are using a very old version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4, so perhaps updating to the latest version will solve the problem.

You can download the latest version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus, v4.2.71, direct from ESET's download servers at http://download.eset.com/download/win/v4eav/eav_nt32_enu.msi. You can install that over your existing installation of v4.0 and then let us know the results.

    Regards,
