BitDefender is a big resource hog. I bought a year of NOD32 3.0 but uninstalled it and went to 2.7. I tried KAV but didnt care much for the "K" blinking in my systray.

Does anyone know when ESET is going to provide the next build?
    Not even a clue?
I think they will, soon enough.
At least before Christmas, I hope, as a Christmas present for NOD32 users.

I have used Norton removal tool, and system still starts slower. I disable the real-time protection and load on start-up and every thing seems to work fine.

I am not having anything special in start-up, just COMODO v2 and NOD32 v3.

I really hope it true. Whats the source anyways?

Can't vote in the poll. No option for "have not yet installed v3"!

I upgraded to v2.7 weeks ago!

I still have faith in the future of v3.0, I think they will fix it eventually, but I don't have much faith left in ESET as a company to do business with. The Australian branch and their support guy Craig are good people to talk to, I VoIP'd them a few times, but San Diego sucks. Too bad I live in the USA. :(

Thank you for v 3.621 ESET!

Merry Christmas; and I've got my fingers crossed that this version is a keeper.

You've still got a loyal customer here.;)

I think some members should recast their vote as 6xx build is out :thumb: :D

I second that - every subsequent build has been better in my judgment.

No you're not. There are plenty people doing just that. I'm one of them! V2.7 is still supported and you still get updates and it's still a great bit of kit.

As there is now "an upgrade" which can be found mentioned in the sticky and top of this forum, we'll bring this thread to a close.
