    Hello,

    Advanced heuristics module: 1134 (20120903)
    Archive support module: 1153 (20120917)
    Cleaner module: 1057 (20120626)
    Anti-Stealth support module: 1032 (20120806)
    Personal firewall module: 1095 (20120924)
    Antispam module: 1022 (20120601)
    ESET SysInspector module: 1226 (20120809)
    Self-defense support module: 1018 (20100812)
    Real-time file system protection module: 1006 (20110921)
    Translation support module: 1094 (2012092:cool:
    HIPS support module: 1056 (20120905)
    Internet protection module: 1047 (20121002)
Web content filter module: 1017P (20120307)
    Advanced antispam module: 1092P (20121005)
    Database module: 1023 (20120917)

    Running on:
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1, AMD Phenom II x6 1100T (3314 MHz), 8191 MB Ram

I keep getting the Packet blocked by IDS. I've turned off the RPC/DCOM attack detection and TCP/UDP Port scanning attack detection but, with the firewall turned on, I keep getting a tcp attack from my dvd player.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hey BBear309

Just an idea, (from another Eset user) go to advanced settings . From there; in the Advanced Setup tree, expand "Network Personal firewall" and click on the" IDS and advanced options". Now check
" Allow UPNP for system services in the Trusted zone " and " Allow comminication for bridged connections.

While you waiting for Eset,( and if the above do not help) then you can create a log over blocked connections in your firewall (and upload it here). It may help to understand better, what is being blocked. See this link : How do I create a log of all connections blocked by the ESET Personal firewall? (5.x)

    Kind Regards, Janus :)

I'd suggest adding the player's IP address to the list of addresses excluded from active protection in the Zone setup and enabling the attack detections you've disabled.
