eset smart security 6 beta-bug

i have installed eset ss 6 beta in windows 8 release preview and today I got a pop up that hips does not work. please fix that problem. here is a snapshot :

 

Did you try restarting your computer?

As far as I know, ESS 6 isn't compatible yet with Windows 8.

That said, you can ensure that you get the latest modules for ESET Smart Security 6 Beta by turning on pre-release updates. This will help ensure that you receive module updates that contain incremental improvements for Windows 8 support as it is added to the program.

Also to add , started getting "failed to read firewall configuration", also since installing smart security 6, my machine has crashed several times, i didn't think much of it to start with but now after looking in to when it started crashing and when i installed SS 6 i believe it is linked,

 

When a computer crashes, the firewall may fail to write data to the dat file properly. If you get this error even without a crash, we can investigate it further.

 

ok i enabled pre-release updates and everything is working fine now
