ESET NOD32 Antivirus 6.0.314 has been released in all languages.

    Changelog:
    • Fixed: Outlook 2013 crashes and automatic send/receive feature not working
    • Fixed: Resolved issue with Anti-Theft not sending screen shots in specific cases
    • Fixed: Better error handling during during Anti-Theft configuration
    • Fixed: Minor issues after upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8
    • Added: SysRescue supports Windows 8

The new version is currently available only as stand-alone msi installers on the download page. It can be installed over older versions so that the settings are preserved.

Will it be available as program update through built in updater?

Yes sooner or later, but it can take up to a couple of weeks until it becomes available via the built-in updater. But you can download it manually and install over your current installation too, or make a fresh install uninstall/new install.

Any word on any of the Business users being able to make use of 6.x yet? We're still languishing on 5.0.2126.

    Many thanks

Endpoint based on v6 is not planned to be available any time soon. What specific features from v6 are you missing in the current version of Endpoint?

No specific features as such, I'm just curious why all the effort (at least, publicly) seems to be going into the "home" stream.

There's always things of interest in the changelog for home (e.g. "Outlook 2013 crashes and automatic send/receive feature not working") - do these problems only ever apply to Home or would Business users benefit from them also? I use ESET EndPoint Business and I use Outlook 2013.

    Many thanks

    Jim

The point is to have business products as much stable as possible. A newer service build of ERA and Endpoint addressing known issues, such as those with MS Outlook 2013, will be introduced soon.

Got it today as I installed NOD32 for the first time (on 3 computers).

And yes, it found bad stuff on 2 out of 3 computers.

Thank you avast!. SAS and MBAM!;)

Sorry for the slight bit of confusion, Roger - if the previous links and information that were provided by me in this post were confusing.

You may download ESET Smart Security or ESET antivirus here:

Note: that the above is the ESET news channel support page and is always worth a bookmark.

You may download it below - online or offline installers, whichever suits your installation needs best:

    Regards,
