I have installed lots of EAVs and ESS and it never corrupts the Winsock (including on Vista) . NOD32 v2 is the one which component (IMON) interferes with the Winsock .

Search for the problem somewhere else . :thumb:

ESS/EAV do not tamper with Winsock at all except the case when uninstalling IMON from version 2.

List any other firewalls, proxies, or security programs you may have on your computer.

As the others said,NOD32 v3 never corrupts the Winsock.

You should check other programs or virus.

    Hello,

Try uninstalling ESET NOD32 Antivirus v3.0.642 from your computer, reseting the TCP stack per the instructions in Microsoft KB article 299357, "How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in Windows XP" (the instructions are the same for Windows Vista, just remember to run from an elevated Command Prompt) and then reinstall ESET NOD32 Antivirus once more on your computer.

    Does that resolve the issue?

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky
