    Hi,

When I use the esets_cli command on RHEL I get the following error :-

    [root@office log]# esets_cli /tmp
error[186f0000]: Cannot identify to daemon: Access denied for agent cli
    [root@office log]# esets_cli -v
    esets_cli (esets) 3.0.10

But esets_scan works just fine. The daemon is started and reports this aswell :-

Nov 22 14:28:23 office esets_daemon[1304]: error[05180209]: Connection request from not licensed agent `cli' rejected
    Nov 22 14:28:23 office esets_daemon[1304]: error[05180209]: Command HELO error
Nov 22 14:28:23 office esets_daemon[1304]: warning[05180209]: Agent cli disconnected incorrectly

    Any ideas please ?

    TIA

    I have tried adding
    Code:
    [cli]
    agent_enabled = yes
to esets.cfg and still no joy :( a strace of it returns
    Code:
    connect(3, {sa_family=AF_FILE, path="/tmp/esets.sock"}, 110) = 0
    recvmsg(3, {msg_name(0)=NULL, msg_iov(1)=[{"200 ESETS_DAEMON 3632 (20081121)"..., 4096}], msg_controllen=0, msg_flags=0}, MSG_NOSIGNAL) = 34
    send(3, "HELO\ncli\n\n", 10, MSG_NOSIGNAL) = 10
    recvmsg(3, {msg_name(0)=NULL, msg_iov(1)=[{"401 Access denied for agent cli\n"..., 4096}], msg_controllen=0, msg_flags=0}, MSG_NOSIGNAL) = 33

    Hello,

Just to verify, you are using an ESET File Server and not an ESET Mail Server or ESET Gateway Server license, correct?

    Regards,
