Hi, I apologize if any of this seems obvious but I have a few questions.

First off is ESET File Security intended to be the only version of ESET that should be found on a Microsoft Server? Would this recommendation change if the server was a domain controller?

What threw me off for a while was that the heading this software was under in the download section made me think the ESET File Security for windows servers was actually only intended for actual file servers. I wanted to confirm that File Security versions of ESET business software actually are supposed to be used instead of the 4.X business version of ESET Antivirus?

    Thank you,

That's right. EFS is meant to replace v4 BE on servers and bring some new server-related features, such as automatic exclusions.

Is the licensing the same, or do EFS licenses need to be purchased separately from BE licenses?
