    ESET Antivirus for Linux Desktop Public Beta 1 has been refreshed to v4.0.12 with new features and fixes for reported bugs. Changelog is as follows:

    v4.0.14 (12 February 2010)

    New Features
    • Added "splash" screen with information about the application
    • Added an advanced "about" window with more detailed information about the application
    • Added status windows with information about detected and cleaned infiltrations
    • Added support for file scanning from context menus
    • Added support for multiple selection of list items in user interface
    • Added support for restoring quarantine files to a specified location
    Fixes
    • Fixed issue where Ubuntu 9.10 x64 desktop stops responding
    • Fixed issue with installing NetBeans Java IDE
    • Fixed issue with starting Google Chrome web browser
    • Fixed issue with icon for DropBox service disappearing after a restart
    • Fixed issue with shortcuts not working
    • Improvements to scanning speed for archives
    Known Issues
    • Several keyboard accelerator mnemonics unavailable
