errors...run time

run time error 429

active x component can't create object

these are the error messages that appear before the program shuts itself down.

what gives?

 

The following information could help me greatly:

-Your version of Windows (98, 98SE, ME, NT, 2000, XP?)
-What version of Internet Explorer you have
-What anti-virus (if any) you have installed
-What firewall (if any) you use
-Any other programs you have running that are used to help secure your system
-Have you recently scanned your system with software such as Spybot S & D or Ad-Aware?

windows explorer 5.5 (I believe)

Yes I have scanned my equipment with ad aware...

Windows Explorer is what you use when you're looking at your files & folders on your computer. Internet Explorer is what you use for surfing the Internet. They're 2 separate programs but for some reason Microsoft decided it was okay for 2 programs to have the same name. So what you have is Internet Explorer (IE) 5.5.
