I have just purchased Disk Director Suite 10, i am getting the following errors
    on starting the program:-

Failed to read from the sector 137,808,844 of the hard disk 1

I press ignore all, then this error appears...

Failed to read from the sector 110,816,498 of the hard disk 1

The program then seems to run normally - although i have not yet used its features yet.

I have Phoenix (cME) FirstWare Recover Pro 2004 installed, and i have seen
this problem reported in another thread on your forum.

I have updated Disk Director 10 to your latest build, but the errors keep appearing..

    Thanks

    Hello Pharcyde,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Could you please check the disks for errors?

    - Go to the Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd)
    - Enter the command: "chkdsk DISK: /r"
where DISK is the partition letter you need to check. Please note, that
checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.

If the issue still persists after the disk checking then please create Acronis Report as it is described in Acronis Help Post and submit a request for technical support. Attach the collected report file to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.

    Hi

Thanks for your prompt reply, i had allready used chkdsk, but solved the problem by removing Phoenix Pro from the hard drive, it is a shame they do not get on together, but l have not got that long to live trying to work it all out.

Have gone back to using True Image, going to install Linux, i might be back...........

    Thanks again for your help.....
