It looks like you may have a corrupt Visual Basic run times file or you need to install VB6 Here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=FH;[LN];vbruntime& download and install vb6 version, see if that helps. If you *know* you already have it, then it looks like an error with it. PS Link looks broken for some reason, copy and paste it fully and it works. If this does not help you will have to get wayne/gavin or someone else to help. Cheers.
That's right, but it surprises me as i would suppose a problem of the same kind with TDS if that file was missing. Have a look at the required system files here on top of the TDS forums: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=2906 and check for the version numbers at least from that msvbvm60.dll; they should be equal or newer on your system. You have win98, which IE version are you using? As that also comes with loads of necessary system files.
Good point jooske re TDS and VB6. It's probably something corrupt within it or WG itself. Rikster: Also try uninstalling and re-downloading a new version [you have the email with keyfile anyway] and do a fresh install. If you still have the same problem, then suggest you reinstall VB6 [as your error window indicates it's already MSVB6 anyway, but could be corrupt and only affecting WG at this stage]. Hope this helps.
Using the MSAgents causes me to be uptodate with the VB6 runtimes all time too, as we love to have the latest Your URL pointed nicely to the VB6SP5 which i have too; nice page with all the explanation and links. I would think it is less work to hunt for the msvbvm60.dll version and replace it anyway with the version from the required files page or the one from your URL (i have version 6.00.9237 which on your win ME might say 6.0.9237), but this is up to the user. After placing it i would at least restart the programs but better reboot. BTW: before replacing it with the new file, you might like to make a copy of it or renaming it in case you want it back or want to compare it, whatever. I just called Microsoft and they confirmed if possible to try to upgrade for win98SE (they don't sell it anymore, but maybe you can hunt for it but most shops don't have it on cdrom either anymore) as the SE would have better ways to deal with the programs and problems you might run into. Maybe a very friendly person at your local MS helpdesk could be so nice to find you a forgotten cd-rom on the shelves. But of course they rather have us all on win2000 or XP
