I'm getting this error after installing on in-laws computer. He was pretty naked and only had webroot spysweeper/AV running plus outdated versions of all the security progs I installed last time he had major pc problems.

Installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, installed missingfiles and vbruntime. same error every time. Ran ccleaner, spybot, aaw, avgfreeAV and AS, threw cBOC, kpf, treewalkDNS hpguru hosts file, and lots of other things- lol spent the day at it for a case of beer.

end result, system is looking clean now but the error keeps happening.
