Error when backing up under WinPE

    Hello

    I am getting the error message "I/O error on hard disk drive 2 has occurred" at almost the end of my system partition backup (at 100%) under WinPE 3.0 of B&R 11 Home.

    Drive 2 is an external USB 2.0 hard disk. It's interesting that the same backup process completes successfully under Win 7 though. It's also noteworthy that my system partition that is to be backed up is an Intel SSD.

    So what can be done about this? Are there any logs?

    Hints are appreciated.

    Yes, there are logs.

    In the express launcher under Troubleshooting, or in the main Interface under Tools

    I haven't had to restore a backup for some time but the last time I ran into a problem, HDM11S stopped, erroring on some file(s). It wanted to reboot to continue which from WinPE at 60% done, which of course doesn't work. It said, click here to view the problem file(s) and when I did, nothing was there.

    I wonder if this was using or looking at log files?
