Error Message Help needed...

    I am using NOD 32, I have included my info. Cruiously since its normal virus download on the 15th, i get this message.
    Error Occured while updating program( module cannot replace current file)

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Use Ad-Aware, SpyBot regularly also run Pest Patrol, and use Zone Alarm Pro.
    update them all and run regularly. Ihave been real happy with NOD32, since I switched from NAV 2004.

    Can you download a FRESH copy of Nod32

    Uinstall your current version of Nod32

    Remove the Eset Folder from C> Program Files.

    Reinstall Nod32.

    Hope this helps…

    Thanks for the timely reply. The machine is pretty clean just wiped the drive and reloaded XPwSP2 from scratch 3 weeks ago. I did a disk scan, and the temp files looked fine Marcos per your suggestion. Additonally I always have my programs pass word protected this one included. I will try to download again method and let you know if I have any further problems.

    Some time ago, I came across a problem when it was necessary to change the TEMP/TMP variable to point to a short-path directory (e.g. c:\windows\temp) instead of c:\documents and settings\user\local settings\temp. Perhaps you could give it a try :-]
