    Hi,

Removed Mcafee and also used the eset removal tool but when I try to install nod32 am getting the cabinet file modules.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the cdrom or a problem with the package. I know the download is working all ok. I am also getting error 8020053 when trying to do a windows update as well and all of this since removing mcafee ?

    Any ideas appreciated?

    Thanks,

Try using the McAfee removal tool and the steps in this link, before trying to install NOD32:

The last time I installed Mcafee, I had to reimage in order just to get the crap off so I could install anything. I hope you dont have to but this isnt Esets fault.
