    Hi, miamigo

Welcome to Wilders and Acronis Forums.

Better to use CD-RW anyway, as your will save on coasters.

    Take Care,

    Hello miamigo

Some CD burners are much too fast for their own good when writing to CD-R. Try a different make of media (I swear by Verbatim CDs and DVDs) or slow down your drive a bit if it came supplied with a suitable utility.

However, as TheQuest said, CD-RW is better bearing in mind that you need to create a new bootable rescue CD each time you update TI to the latest build.

    Regards
