Going through the old posts, I found someone who had the same problem I am currently experiencing with my restore. The error message dialog comes up before the TI restore splash. I am using the trial build 786 to see if this program is worth the money. Has there been any resolution to the problem?

I am running a Athlon 64, nVidia nForce3 chipset, no SATA drives attached, able to backup the PATA's to the USB 40GB drive, but receive this error message when using the TI boot CD to test the restore function. My OS is WinXP Pro.

    Thanks All,
    Boskey

    Hello Boskey,

Depending on hardware configuration, the error message can sometimes be ignored and TI will continue to load after 1 or 2 minutes. If that doesn't work, create a "Safe" version of the boot rescue DVD and try that.

    Regards

I get this message. Can you please tell me how to create a "safe" version of the boot rescue DVD. I have a boot disk and it is when I am using this that I get the error message. Thanks.

    1. Start True Image.
    2. Click on "Create Bootable Rescue Media" in the Tools Menu on the left.
    3. Click Next.
    4. Click "Safe Version"
    5. Click Next and follow the rest of the instructions to complete the process.
