    Hi there,

I would like to perform first a full back up and later on the different back up.
Since the entire computer system is then on an external usb drive I wonder whether it would be for security reasons better to encrypt the entire drive.
Can I make a full system restore from a encrypted external drive?
Thanks in advance for your input.

Paragon programs do not support encrypted storage.
You will have to decrypt external drive before Restore process.

I would not recommend to encrypt the backup storage. Backups are saved in Paragon specific format with file encryption enabled.
