It is a very good Commandline Scanner, I have used it for a long time.
I think the most convenient thing is that it can update both signatures and program through the updater(update parameter).
Not many Commandline Scanners can do that.:D

I have never used Emsisoft Commandline Scanner to clean an infected system.

I have looked through the commandline parameters and there are many options. What would you recommend for the best scan parameters for cleaning an infected system?

Also, what advantages are there for using Emsisoft Commandline Scanner over another GUI type scanner such as the GUI scanner in Emsisoft Emergency Kit?

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi TheKid7,

You can run the Emsisogt Commandline Scanner with the option /deep to do a full scan of all areas. No other parameters required. It is similar to clicking deep scan button in GUI.
Regarding the advantages per say, a2cmd can be used in batch files and/or scheduled scans. No advantage specifically from scanner capability.
    Hope that helps.

    Regards
