Emsisoft Anti-Malware & Emsisoft Internet Security 11 has been released

Most of the times I get this blank space in the alert

 

As far as the blank area in the alert, all that is displayed there is a general description of the activity detected; usually the malware/suspicious activity detected. You have to click on "view file details" for specifics related to the app detected.

It is a bit odd though if you are not getting descriptive activity most of the time. Suggest you try the EICAR http or https test downloads here: http://www.eicar.org/85-0-Download.html and see if any descriptions are displayed.

Appears you don't have a problem. Note: pay attention to the alert color. Red is a sign that the BB has detected what it considers to be real malicious activity.

 

It isnt a BB detection, it is a File Guard (changed from default setting = quarantine)

 

Oops. Your correct. Forgot the Eicar test is detected by File Guard.

In EAM as far as I can recollect, I have always seen a description displayed for a BB alert. @Sherlock_Holmes , perhaps post this issue in the Emsisioft EAM forum.

quick update, sales got back to me, the referral options on the net are not valid, they checking if they either fraud or just expired offers. The help I got a few posts back encouraged me to look for other resellers and I found 25% off on thundercloud, so when I my paypal account has funds will get my licenses from there.

do v11 license holders get v12 upgrade free?

I didnt know v12 is soon and in 3 days purchasing my v11 licenses.

 

You license will fine when release version 12 from Emsisoft.

 

Always a seamless transition with Emsisoft versions.
I was only guessing '12' will be soon judging by the version number just released

 

It will take some more time until version 12 is released. We just decided that because our monthly releases often introduce new features and major improvements it should be reflected in the version number somehow. Just incrementing the build numbers doesn't really do justice to the amount of improvements that are packed into those releases.

Yes, all product upgrades are always free during your license time.

 

I can confirm EAM interface does not work with ReHIPS and thank you for reporting this.

No complaints here whatever the version

 

EAM 11.8.0.6465 (beta updates enabled), on W7 32-bit.
Noticed in past 3 or 4 days that I wasn't now seeing the signature updates notification pop-up, and when I looked in Settings>Notifications just now, found it unchecked. Know my memory is not brilliant but certainly can't remember altering setting myself. Just in case anyone else sees this. Thanks.

I been waiting 3 days now for my license from thundercloud, which is listed as a current official reseller, should I be worried?
