   Control center tray icon, IMON, setup, pop3. You can turn off scanning or appending messages there.

   Go to the IMON tab and look at the POP3 tab. To turn off the "checked by IMON" stamp, change the "Append tag messages to email" setting to "no notification". To turn off IMON scanning of e-mail totally, uncheck the "Enable email checking" box at the top. Your downloads and webmail will still be checked by the settings in the HTTP tab.
