Today I encountered the folloiwing error message regarding Outlook Express.

Error Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop3.live.com', Server: 'pop3.live.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I am using Windows XP Home and the security shown in my signature.
Anyone know what this iso_O? Thanks.

    Regards,
    Jerry

    Hello

Ironically, after reading your post, I just this second got this:

    Capture.JPG

I have 5 accounts coming through Outlook 03 and Live Mail does this about 50% of F9 key hits.

    So, you are not alone...

I suspected my firewall, PC Tools which I installed yesterday, and uninstalled it. Now all is fine using the Windows XP firewall.

The last few days I have had problems with LooknStop and now PC Tools firewall. I don't want to spend a lot of time setting firewalls. I need detailed and simple instructions.:)

I may stick with the Windows firewall, unless I can get some simple instructions re PC tools or LnS. I may go back to FSIS.

    Regards,
    Jerry
