email problem

    Hi, need some help.
    Just uninstalled antivirus ,piece by piece ,as it would not uninstall by the uninstaller.All is now gone,and run reg supreme etc.But now problem.
    While i had this antivirus,i disabled email check,and a warning said i wouldnt be able to recieve emails,so i enabled it again.
    But now i have deleated it piece by piece, i cant recieve emails.
    I get message The connection to the server has failed. Account: ' ', Server: '110', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E.
    Can this be resolved ,thanks
