Email notification issue

    Hi,
    Currently I am using Acronis True Image Enterprise Server 8. When setting
    the email notification portion, realise there is no "sender address" and
    "recipient address" textbox. Upon testing, found out that the email address
    field is for both the sender address and recipient address. Which comes to
    the question, is there a way of setting such a way that the sender address
    and the recipient address is different. Due to the "sender" and "recipient"
    address sharing the same textbox, I am unable to send notification emails to
    more than one user. This issue can also be address if the sender address and
    the recipient address are unique.

    Hope the issues mentioned can be resolve with assistance from Acronis.

    Hi,

    As you can see from the picture, when an email address is entered into the
    "Email address" box, this email address (e.g. bob@notify.com) is the email
    address that acronis will send the backup notifications email to (recipient
    email). However, when the notification email is sent, both the sender email
    and the recipient email are the same. There isnt an extra text box to enter
    the sender email, (e.g. acronisbackup@notify.com).

    Basically I would like to send an email notification of backup status to more
    than one person. And also, the backup notification sender email address to
    be different from the recipient email address.

    Hello Kumar,

    I'm afraid that it is impossible to send notifications by email to several addresses at the moment.
    Actually, the sender address is identical to the recipient address. I'm afraid that it will not be possible to change the sender address.

    This feature is already in the Development Team's enhancement list and probably will be implemented in future.
