Have an eMachine T2615 WITH A KM266 chipset. Video is onboard. Bought an AGP card to play games. I cannot disable the onboard feature in BIOS. Will not give me this option. Device Manager makes no mention of a Display Adapter. The pc will not recognize the AGP slot. Have tried to contact eMachine tech only to find out they have merged with Gatway. Any help. Thank you.

There is a model that uses motherboard made by ESC, they use AGI standard instead of AGP. It is their standard for their video cards and not all AGP cards are compatible with that.

I would suggest you to sale that PC and build custom one that will be universal and independent of manufacturer.

At the least you could replace the motherboard, making sure the other periphereals are compatible, although it may be hard to resist a new CPU :D
