Thank you, Kent. I can confirm that the internal updater got it. I had version 7.0.27943.0 (licenced) installed and the internal updater immediatelly did pop up to get version 7.0.30068.0. It installed, a reboot was required. BTW: is there a way in eM Client to not let it automatically check for updates?
Hello Jan, You are most welcome ... I did a search through the help files and looked through the settings also. As far as I can tell (unless I have missed something), the "Check for Updates" is hardwired with no way to disable it. I know that you can do a manual check for updates but I have not found a way to disable the automatic update checking.
As I don't use this email client i have no idea if this will work. One of the devs of eM client replied in this thread about how to turn updates off. https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-stop-eM-Client-from-checking-for-updates
Hello, I have been running the beta version 7.1.30115.0 (beta 2) and it just updated to version 7.1.30166.0. I am assuming this is still a beta but at the time of this post there is no information on the eM client website concerning this new version. It probably is still a beta but I guess it is possible that 7.1 has been released as stable...
And now it's jumped back to 7.0.28822.0 (for the non beta 7.1 release) - http://www.emclient.com/release-history - Major public folders listing speed optimizations on MS Exchange accounts - Fixed issues with resyncing calendars and contacts after offline use - Various time zone fixes for Exchange, Kerio and CalDAV accounts - Fixed decoding of S/MIME messages to better handle Italian Certified Electronic Mail - Improved memory usage when copying messages between accounts - Fixed some "Set action is invalid for property" errors on Exchange servers - Fixed blank conversations appearing on some IMAP servers - Fixed image issue when forwarding specific emails. - Fixed an issue with sending meeting invites. - Fixed bug with backup files not deleted in some scenarios - Fixed italian localization - Updated localizations - Other bug fixes Aaah - it is "explained" on their forums here https://forum.emclient.com/emclient/topics/version-7-0-28822-0
Hello, That has always been my biggest complaint about eM Client. I really like their software but the way they manage the update and release history information on their website can be quite confusing at times. There was version 7.0.27943.0 released: Friday, October 21, 2016 after which we went until May 11 with no updates and no new release history information. On May 11 they released 7.0.30068.0 and posted 3 new builds to the release history page. Today 7.0.30068.0 disappeared from the release history page even though it is still the current version available for manual download and the current version automatically updated to via the internal updater ...
