And he is known for blocking people on Twitter who criticize him, and now he wants to buy Coca Cola to put the cocaine back in it, he has tweeted this yesterday. This is no stuff to joke about, every year thousands of people die of drugs. I believe this guy is starting to lose it. Like I said, he should focus more on Tesla. The Volkswagen ID.3 and the Lucid Air look way cooler, especially the interior.
lol! Yep. Here it is: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1519480761749016577 2.6 million likes and climbing.
Oh thanks, I didn't bother to search for it, I read about it on thestreet.com, but seems he actually tweeted this today.
Elon Musk puts Twitter deal on hold over fake account details https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61433724
Saw this on Yahoo today. More doubt cast on whether Elon Musk will go thru with it. It's still up in the air though. https://markets.businessinsider.com...yout-deal-bots-tesla-financing-wedbush-2022-5 Musk's supposed estimate of Twitter users' actually being bots. https://twitter.com/WatcherGuru/status/1526269159847469056
Oo-oo. Looks like Elon might be a little, how you say?-stuck. I follow the poster on Twitter. He's the one who found the kill switch to the WannaCry ransomware attack. https://twitter.com/MalwareTechBlog/status/1526748289231507456

At this particular point in time, Tesla shares are up 2.54% from 9:30 am EST. Twitter shares have steadily declined 5.10% since the same time this morning. Hmmm. Nothing phenomenal but I do see a pattern.
No, not really. As I already predicted earlier in this thread, this was mostly a publicity stunt, and besides that it was also a smart financial trick: https://fortune.com/2022/07/09/how-...ver-for-him-to-sell-8-billion-in-tesla-stock/
I don't doubt it at all, cynical as it sounds. But that's life in the corporate fast-lane. Here's some more. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/elon-musk-is-a-nightmare-client/ar-AAZySuR
I haven't read the whole thing, but as someone already mentioned, Elon Musk believes he can put people on Mars, and now all of a sudden he is worried about all the fake bot accounts, like this isn't easy to solve? Yeah right, he never planned to actually buy Twitter.
"Report: Elon Musk proceeding with $44B Twitter takeover Associated Press Trading in shares of Twitter were halted after the stock spiked on reports that Elon Musk would proceed with his $44 billion deal to buy the company after months of legal battles. The news, based on anonymous sources, was first reported by Bloomberg News..." https://www.delawareonline.com/stor...-purchase-of-twitter-report-says/69539236007/
Yes, I just read about it. My take on it is that Elon Musk is trying to save face because he knew he would lose the court battle LOL. Tesla's stock just tanked, even though Wall Street is on fire right now.
Hmm, didn't expect this reversal myself. Wonder if it'll actually go thru now versus more eleventh hour drama. Stay tuned.
Latest news is that Twitter still wants to go to court because they say that Musk's words can't be trusted LOL. BTW, now that I think of it, isn't $44 billion way too much? I see that Twitter has a revenue of $5 billion, which is quite weird, I haven't got a clue how they achieve this. But it somehow manages to make a loss of $200 million, which is also weird. So sounds like a very bad deal.
Elon's worth is currently 215.4 BILLION US bucks. But why is he selling perfume now? Hoping to offset a little of the Twitter price? I dunno, I'm not seeing the humor here. But anyway. https://www.forbes.com/sites/robert...air-perfume-for-100-a-bottle/?sh=7997d3aa65d2
"Musk said he will cut nearly 75 percent of Twitter’s staff if he takes control Documents detail plans to gut Twitter’s workforce The impact of such layoffs would likely be felt immediately by millions of users and would put them at risk of hacks and exposure to offensive material such as child pornography, insiders said. Musk told prospective investors in his deal to buy the company that he planned to get rid of nearly 75 percent of Twitter’s 7,500 workers, whittling the company down to a skeleton staff of just over 2,000..." https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/10/20/musk-twitter-acquisition-staff-cuts/
Did not see this coming....but it's speculative as nothing has happened (yet). https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy...blocking-twitter-deal-over-national-security/
