ekrn.exe 100% CPU

    The issue is resolved with VSD 5973 and later. Please let us know here if you are still having the problem post VSD 5972.

    Just had this my self CPU stuck at 100% definition version is 6414

    Yes me too. :argh:

    I had been browsing for around 15 Min and all of a sudden everything stopped responding except for the cursor.

    So I could not reach the task manager to find out what was going on, I waited for 5 min but no luck. So I forced a shutdown manually.

    And it happened 4 times more after that. = :mad:

    But on the 4th time it happened I was able to reach the task manager and I could see that ekrn.exe used 95-100% CPU and between 150-250 MB of RAM!

    So I had no choice but to uninstall the ESS V5 RC and right now i'm back on the Webroot SecureAnywhere BETA.

    Hopefully VSD 6415 will include a fix :thumb:

    Hello could someone comment on if the issue I had with VSD 6414 is fixed? :doubt:
