egui.exe+vista 32bit

I hope some1 can help me out here. The thing is once in a while <i presume this has to do sth with scheduled scans> i keep gettin this "programm can not disaply communicate on the desktop" pop-up...:

In-case any1 doesnt speak polish...it says:
Programm can not disaply messgae on the desktop, it may need a permission.
> show the message
> remind me in few mins

in the details box it says:
reason for that issues is partial incopatibility with MS Vista. For more info contact...bla bla bla

Any1 had sth like this b4>?

 

I don't really understand the message but if it says

then you choose "Show the message"

I did and all i got was an main nod32 window. The background went blank btw, i couldnt even make an screenshot....plus theres a pop-up with "restore now" option, once clicked its all good, but the 1st pop-up is still there....:wall:

 

Try reinstallation with the latest version:

1. Download fresh new version of your desired ESET product
http://www.eset.com/download
Make sure that you choose the correct version.

2. Uninstall your current version from Control Panel
3. Reboot the computer when prompted
4. Delete manually these folders:

- C:\Program files\ESET
- C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application data\Eset

5. Reinstall your ESET protection software using the file you downloaded in step1 . Use typical install.

i have no problems with 3.0.x on Vista x64 with or without SP1, try install it " Run as administrator" via the left click

 

There is no way for the program to get installed unless run with administrative privilages . UAC automatically pops-up for privilage escalation for the installer of EAV/ESS when necessary (during the installation)
