I recently discovered my Web Email provider MailSnare uses/provides/includes/has Eglum SpamSnare software.
Anyone use SpamSnare? (Here is my "printscreen" for my Email account Feb/23/05)

It certainly looks impressive. But what do they do with the mail they consider is spam? If they delete it, or make it inconvenient for you to restore/obtain it, then it is potentially baaaad.

My web host's spam eater simply enters the word *SPAM* in the subject line of those messages that its filters consider to be spam. That's fine because I retain the option to consider or ignore what they have flagged. Anything beyond that would be tantamount to censorship, IMHO.

    Seems a good enough mailservice.
It looks a bit like the Barracuda spamfirewall, same set of tools: spamassassin and anti virus (Clamav probably).
We use Barracuda to good effect. Spamassassin is complemented by custom rules, spam detection is very good (I'd say over 99%) and false positives are minimal (less that 3 in 10.000 mails that we recieve every day (I know, I check).

I don't know about the function that let relations bypass the filter by adding non-spag tags. You better try it out.
