Ronjor posted a link in another thread for a new addon from EFF https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2010/0...efox-extension. It is really cool and I like it but:

    1. I can no longer get the cached feature in Google searches that highlights the text in color,

    ScreenShot002.jpg

    2. I no longer have the links to images, videos maps etc. in the upper left corner.

I have read that is always suggested to use hhtps when it is available, but how do you know if it is offered for a particular site? And how do you choose to use it? I would like to be able use it without disabling the above features.

If you type https://www.google.com into the address bar you would have the same result without HTTPEverywhere.

No access to your favorite features of http Google,
    Code:
    <a href="http://news.google.com/nwshp?hl=en&tab=wn" onclick=gbar.qs(this) class=gb1>News</a>
    <a href="http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi" onclick=gbar.qs(this) class=gb1>Images</a>
    <a href="http://video.google.com/?hl=en&tab=wv" onclick=gbar.qs(this) class=gb1>Videos</a>
It is a puzzle indeed. :D

I noticed that same thing. If you watch close the images links breifly appear then disapear. I ended up turning off Google Search in the extention. It only works with google.com anyway my default is google.com.ph.
