    Hi Guys,

Just noticed these bugs during our testing.

These two options are not currently configurable via the Client Editor (I'm sure there are others.)

The other problem is that the Username for people who run on demand jobs shows up blank:

    Cheers,

    Just noticed another problem

ERAS isn't downloading updates for EAV4 components, at least on my server. Can anyone verify this? Here is what I have at home:

    Virus signature database: 3912 (20090306)
    Update module: 1028 (20090302)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1188 (20090301)
    Advanced heuristics module: 1090 (20090219)
    Archive support module: 1091 (20090213)
    Cleaner module: 1038 (20090210)
    Anti-Stealth support module: 1010 (20090302)
    System status module: 1210 (20090306)
    Self-defense support module : 1005 (20081105)

and the business edition we have at the office:

    Virus signature database: 3912 (20090306)
    Update module: 1028 (20090302)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1188 (20090301)
    Advanced heuristics module: 1090 (20090219)
    Archive support module: 1091 (20090213)
    Cleaner module: 1038 (20090210)
    Anti-Stealth support module: 1010 (20090302)
    System status module: 1206 (20090206)
    Self-defense support module : 1005 (20081105)

Tried forcing downloading many times, but this component will not update.

    Yep, seeing the same thing.

I had exactly the same but in reverse....standalone clients weren't up to date but those on the ERAS were. Clearing the update cache on the problem clients seemed to fix the issue and the modules updated on the next update. Maybe try the same on the RAS?

Clearing the cache on the ERA server didn't seem to resolve the problem on this side.

Smacky, were you able to find a fix for this problem? I'm still suffering.

No, I haven't been able to get it working. I am guessing the the 3.0.105 RAS simply does not cache this component module in the mirror. I'll put in a call about it this afternoon.

Sure that you configure your update mirror right?

I've got the following on a EA v 4.0.226 updates via eras

The only equipment that are updating are laptops while going out to the interwebitubes. All the desktops internally are still having problems.

Updates on v4.0.314.0 client from a 3.0.105 ERAS mirror.

    Code:
    Virus signature database: 3966 (20090326)
    Update module: 1028 (20090302)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1200 (20090324)
    Advanced heuristics module: 1092 (20090309)
    Archive support module: 1092 (20090324)
    Cleaner module: 1039 (20090320)
    Anti-Stealth support module: 1010 (20090302)
    System status module: 1206 (20090206)
    Self-defense support module : 1005 (20081105)

Yeah, I still have a ticket open with this. If I look at the update.ver file in the mirror, no system status module updates are listed there so I think the RAS isn't even getting the update at that level.

Megachip, could you post the contents of your update.ver file to compare?

Even more weirdness, looking in the upd.ver fiel in updfiles, I can see entries for the 1211 system status module, in fact 7 modules that all came down on 3-25-09. I don't really know what the heck is going on, so I'll just purge everything again and go from there.

Are you collecting bugs? If so, here's another: setting the option to delete a file exclusion still sets DELETE="0" in the XML. Manually setting it to 1 (via Notepad) successfully deletes the exclusion on the client.

Yeah, have an open ticket with Eset on that one and they said the configuration editor should be fixed in the next release.

It looks like my update mirror is now serving out the system status module update 1211 since March 27th. Maybe something was fixed on Eset's end to correct that one, because I didn't change anything on my end in that time.
