EAV warning message : POP3 and HTTP analysis not functioning

    Hi all, just want to share with some of you who might be experiencing the same problem with me.

    Many times the "Status Protection Icon" turns Red after the computer being re-started, and the message is saying "An error occurred while starting services. Analysis of application protocols (POP3,HTTP) will not return function".

    I am using Vista Home Premium 32 Bit and EAV-NOD32 v.4.0.437 and I am connecting to Internet via wireless access.

    According to my colleague who use the same EAV with Vista Home Premium but connect to internet via cable (as he uses a desktop), he never experience this kind of problem.

    After searching here and there for several days for a solution - unfortunately without any luck - then I thought that this problem could occur because of a simple problem. EAV might have been started before the wireless connection is ready and thus EAV is reporting that it can not function properly on analysing POP3 and HTTP protocol (I suggest it is because these protocol were not ready by then ...).

    So I googled around and found a freeware to "delay certain startup program". Just google for "Startup Delayer" and you will find that program.

    I installed this program and set a 30 seconds delay time for EAV.

    So far, after 10 or more restarts, this classical problem seems to be gone ...
    Hopefully it will stay that way.

    I am no an expert in any way whatsoever, merely just sharing my experience here.
