Easy Method to Correct Black Notifications

    I know this has been discussed before but is there any easy way to correct the black notification boxes (the boxes that you need to click on to ok, cancel etc) as they are unreadable when totally black.
    The only previous fix was to uninstall and totally remove all references to ESS in Documents & Settings and the registry. Updating to 672 has not corrected the issue so is there something else I can do rather than totally uninstall and set it all up again.
