    Bitdefender Quickscan detects Emsisoft Emsisoft file as trojan.

    Found 1 infected file!
    ----------------------

    C:\Program Files\Emsisoft Anti-Malware\a2hooks32.dll --> Gen:Trojan.Heur.lu!@Y6lq6Aci

    Best Wishes,

    False positive are expected from time to time, it's just a matter of when and how many is tolerable.

    I agree.

    I always do scans with 'Report Only'. If something shows up, I upload the file(s) to VirusTotal for more opinions. Then I decide what, if any, action needs to be taken.
