    Hi!

I just couldn't find a hint in the forum. That's the reason for the new thread:

I would like to run the TI bootable CD, and save the image directly on a formatted DVD-RAM (DVD writer: LG 1963B). The DVD-RAM is formatted in UDF1.5 or UDF2.0.

Anybody knows, if the DVD-RAM format is or will be supported on the TI bootable CD?

    Many thanks.

I think that DVD-RAM support is more to do with the firmware in the drive rather than any special driver. You should just give it a try and see if it starts writing to the drive ok. If you anticipate large backups then you should take into consideration that DVD-RAM is not the fastest way to backup your data.
